Lindsey wanted to help raise money for cancer research at Childrens Hospital by getting people to sponsor her in the Terry Fox Run. She wrote a short note explaining what she wanted and passed copies out to a few friends and neighbors. Within a couple of days, folks began responding with overwhelming support. With a few flyers and emails, she suddenly had sponsors pledging almost $5,000.
